Some people might think that they won’t be happy until they make X amount of dollars or achieve the goal in a certain amount of time. Like they’re reaching out just a little farther, and if they can make that little extra money or chase that new title, then they’ll be happy.
Well, that’s not what it’s all about.
It’s not about having money. It’s about having options.
I want to be clear: now is the time for you to be preparing to acquire more cash, making plans for cash, and figuring out your money. The storms of life are usually a lot easier to weather with some cash on hand.
In 2017, I had three surgeries and was in the hospital on bed rest for months. I needed some ways to create cash, fast. We were in a crunch. I would have had to let some of our team go and I would have struggled to pay for the house and the bills. We were eating out a lot more and had to pay for someone to help clean.
Life handed me a life card. And you can complain about the life card all you want, but this is still your responsibility. You have the responsibility to sit in the driver’s seat of your life.
If you’re running a business and you don’t have a product that allows you to produce cash really quickly, please get started. If you’re working for someone else, you need to have a plan, another way of making money so that you can sustain yourself. I want you to be doing the damn thing. I want you to be in control.
